Front Yard Redux

If you were privileged enough to see our house earlier this spring you know I'm dead serious when I say it was lacking in curb appeal. Frankly it was the eye sore of the neighborhood. Things have gotten a little better... we've torn out a TON of dead bushes, ripped out lots of vines and repainted the entire exterior of the house.

And now it's time to tackle the front yard. We've killed it off and just this morning we had 1 TON of dirt unloaded in it for filling in craters. So... here's a glimpse at what the south side of the driveway looks like now (after killing the grass). Hopefully in a couple of weeks the after pictures will show a beautiful, lush yard that is no longer the eye sore of the neighborhood!

Note: All the trees had these flowerbeds around them (with the ugly landscaping rock). We've pulled out almost all the rocks and flowers and are going to have the grass planted all the way up to the trees! It's going to look so much better!
